At Razor Capital, our commitment to enabling advancements in technology has led us to invest in transformative sectors that shape the future. Following our recent ventures into space exploration, we are excited to announce our investment in Apptronik, a leader in humanoid robotics.

About Apptronik

Founded in 2016, Apptronik emerged from the Human Centered Robotics Lab at the University of Texas at Austin. The company specializes in developing general-purpose humanoid robots designed to operate seamlessly in environments built for humans. Their flagship robot, Apollo, stands 5'8" tall, weighs 160 lbs, and is engineered to perform a multitude of tasks across various industries, including logistics, manufacturing, and retail, addressing labor shortages and enhancing operational efficiency.

In February 2025, Apptronik secured a $350 million Series A funding round co-led by B Capital and Capital Factory, with participation from Google. This investment aims to scale the production of Apollo to meet the growing demand for AI-powered humanoid robots.
